I was raised in a very traditional Catholic family. As a child I was as interested in ghosts and the supernatural as most children - something fun to scare ourselves with - but never explored spiritual concepts outside of the faith I was raised in. I became an avid Christian in high school and in undergraduate school attended mass frequently. Imagine my surprise when in my young adulthood I realized I had a gift for reading tarot cards!
The cards were given to me as a gift for my 22nd birthday and I learned how to read them almost instantaneously. I am not gifted in the art of learning most things quickly - it requires grueling studying and repeated efforts for me to learn a skill. But card reading was nothing like that - it came to me as easily as talking. It was exciting and fun to read cards for my friends! I soon began to notice a sensation within me telling me I needed to share the information that was coming to me through the cards, with others.
Tarot cards are lots of fun if you are someone that enjoys storytelling - each card represents a person, message or experience and a "story" is created through reading the cards laid out together. I quickly realized that I understood the cards differently than most tarot readers - I abandoned traditional tarot spreads and meanings and instead allowed my patrons to rule the reading, allowing them to create their own artistic spread with the cards. As I interpreted the meanings I would pay special attention to the fluid pathways in which the cards interacted with one another to gain the message in their story.
Tarot card reading part of a very exploratory time in my life when thoughts around God, my religion and so many of my indoctrinated belief systems began breaking down and my mind was expanding; I was awakening to my true identity. I don't think I could be the psychic or doula or acupuncturist I am today if it wasn't for my Catholic upbringing - it taught me discipline, compassion, unconditional love and most importantly, faith. Even though I am no longer a practicing Catholic my sense of spiritual direction in the world couldn't have evolved if it wasn't for my parents dedication to raising me and my sisters so strongly in their faith.
Learning I was a medium was such an interesting experience that I uncovered when in graduate school at Naropa. It took many years for me to be able to understand what was happening when I channeled, to trust the messages I was receiving and use it to help others.
Like most people who have a spiritual awakened experience, I sought out a mentor to help explain the transitions that I was going through. But a mentor never came. I gathered understanding on my own through years of open-mindedness, meditation, yoga, meeting other psychics and mediums, shamanic encounters, health troubles and doing a lot of psychic readings for others.
The readings were perhaps my best teacher of all - new information was always emerging from them and it constantly challenged me to explore truths that I didn't think existed.
I tend to have a more realistic mind; I think a lot of New Age ideologies are kooky. I don't accept spiritual concepts until I have explored them myself. For instance, I wasn't sure I believed in past lives at all...until I started channeling them during a reading.
While working as a phone psychic for California Psychics I had so many experiences that tested my belief systems - but I also was growing deeply in my spirituality while exploring these concepts. This elevated my own understanding of the soul, karmic cycles and the after-life.
My speciality in psychic work is that of mediumship. I have performed hundreds of mediumship readings for clients, family and friends all over the country. During a session I have never not been able to communicate with a deceased loved one. I am also able to tap into multiple forms of soul energy.
Mediumship is by far my favorite kind of psychic work to share - it is extremely healing and humbling to get to connect with a deceased loved one, and transmit that communication. Almost everyone in the reading cries, including me.
My readings are also not just about future predictions - that's not what I do. The readings that unfold are about what is happening in your life right now. Because I am psychic, I am able to tell you a slew of information regarding your job, home, business, family, etc. without you telling me. I excel at tapping into the best course of action a person should take at this time - always with the goal of living a life of more fulfillment and truth.
I oftentimes will bring to the surface that inner voice that you may not be paying attention to. I call this the voice of your own unconscious wisdom! Oftentimes I hear my clients say, "That's just what I was thinking but I wasn't sure about it....now that I hear you confirming it, I understand that I am on the right track!". I love hearing this; I become a mirror reflecting back your highest self being acknowledged.
I am unlike other readers because I also don't answer all of the questions people ask me; for instance, "should I be with my partner right now?", "should I get divorced?", etc.. This is not the role of a true psychic. We are here to advise you on what we see, but all questions are not for me to answer - I think it's important to lead others into uncovering things themselves - but I am not omnipotent, nor do I pretend to be.
The last thing I want to do is to give a reading with a negative message that a person will hold on to for years as being "absolute truth". I hate that kind of psychic and I believe that some questions are for you alone to answer and I will always tell my clients so. I often tell them at the start of a session, "Take what works for you, throw the rest out. If I say something that truly doesn't vibrate with you, sit with it for a while, and if you just don't think it's right, forget about it. Trust your own intuition." My job is to be a guide and messenger, not anything more than that.
If you are someone who is seeking a psychic so you can only be told what it is you want to hear, then I am not the psychic for you. My readings are not harsh - in fact, they are usually filled with compassion and messages of love - but they are truthful. If you are someone who isn't ready to face your own truth, then you probably aren't ready for a reading with me. And that's ok! I honor where you are at on your path and I trust deeply that somehow or another, you will find what you need (or someone else who will gladly take your money and lie to you), but that's just not who I am.
I was living in San Francisco after graduate school when information about people's health began to surface in the readings. I quickly realized that no one would adhere to the health info that came up in a psychic reading without some medical degree to verify my credentials. That's when I decided to become a Chinese Medicine practitioner.
Now that I am licensed as an acupuncturist, I am finally able to start doing the work that I want to do with my patients - combining the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies into a treatment. I have studied collegiate level academia for twelve years and have successfully obtained degrees in Mind, Body & Spirit.
My favorite acupuncture sessions with clients are those where both a psychic reading and a physical acupuncture treatment occur simultaneously.
The results are profound! There is so much work that can be uncovered working with an intuitive practitioner.
The results that manifest from combining the two modalities of psychic work and acupuncture are so rich, that oftentimes my patients don't need to see my as often as a regular practitioner. Because I am able to combine the psyche, the spirit and then the physical body in a session, one can achieve a more balanced treatment. This is not the work that all Chinese Medicine practitioners do. But it is the work that I want to do most of all - because the transformations that take place can be life-altering.
Whether it's just a reading that you are interested in, or the full package of whole-body healing, I am here to support you in all ways.

"The one thing I have found in the commonality of almost every psychic reading I've given is that people do not love themselves; in fact, their self loathing is buried so deeply and under so much pain that they refuse to see how it is at the core of most decisions that are made in their lives. We may give ourselves what we want constantly, but that may not be what we really need. My goal as your practitioner is to guide you in reconnecting with your inner voice - to honor it, accept it's messages and initiate the healing power within."
