Ganesha is a deity in the Hindu religion and the patron of learning and wisdom. He is the son of the Hindu deities Shiva and Parvati.
He is best known for helping to remove obstacles in one's life and is often called upon when starting up a new venture in life. He is associated with bringing luck and good fortune to those that pay him homage. Ganesha is said to help one to see the true obstacles holding us back from success. Therefore, Ganesha is also known for bringing obstacles to the forefront of any situation he is called to watch over. Ganesha helps us to face these situations with the eyes of truth, while also supporting us with the strength and power of the mighty elephant. Ganesha is often depicted riding a mouse. Together, the two represent being able to tackle any obstacle that life may put before us - no matter how large or how small. |

Evolution has proven that the Earth came from the stars and the ever-expanding universe.
The ancient Chinese contemplated their natural world and saw humankind as a microcosmic reflection of the macrocosmic universe.
They created an entire system of medicine from observing the human body and nature. Thousands of years later this medicine still exists and is called Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Beacon of Hope "Ganesha came to me as a beacon of hope - he became like the Hamsa symbol is for many - a way of warding off the "evil" in my life, which was the disease. As I embraced Ganesha my health slowly started to get better and two years from the time I first started accepting this deity into my life, I became remarkably healthier."

Guide for the Future "I knew then that Ganesha Acupuncture was to be the name of my future acupuncture practice. It is my hope that Ganesha will bestow the same blessings of health to all of the patients that I am honored with treating."
